Most of us are entering the 3 or 4 week of isolation and doing our very best to keep busy and stay active. I have heard from many parents, the struggles to entertain their young children as well as homeschooling and going their own work. There is a no right way or wrong way in this situation -in the famous words of the fish Dory ‘just keep swimming’. One day this will be a distant dream and we will teasure this time spent with our loved ones. You doing a fantastic job, be proud!
I have put together 10 resources for your children, I have explored the internet and asked some Friends for some recommendations. I found loads of fantastic links to websites and Youtube channels where children can be entertained, educated and simulated thoughout this lockdown.

Minecraft is a creative platform for creating worlds and where children can connect with their friends while locked up at home. Children have to problem solve in an immersive environment (with create mode or survival mode).

David Walliams has announced that he will be releasing a free audio story every day for the next 30 days in a bid to provide entertainment for children currently unable to go to school. Sounds great! right?
Looking for something more creative? Art-k Club have uploaded fun and artistic tutorials on their website. Your kids can learn Origami, Illustration, Sculpture or Painting. Definitely one to keep your children busy for hours and hours!
NASA at Home
NASA at home as a lot of space related activities for children of all ages. You can explore the moon or strange new worlds outside our solar system and learn about the universe from the team at NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory.

A fun and and enjoyable games online! It covers everything from letters and sounds. This website also includes Phonics play and complements all synthetic programmes used in schools.
